Sea Bright Rising recognizes the importance of ensuring that families displaced by Hurricane

Sandy have a prompt, efficient, and predictable path to move back into their homes. Since the need is significant, there is a sense of urgency for our team to work as efficiently as possible to remove barriers that allow residents to move into safe and permanent housing.

Sea Bright Rising has partnered with St. Bernard Project (SBP), a nonprofit in the process of building a movement to revolutionize disaster recovery in America and create solutions for families in need of safe, affordable housing. St. Bernard Project is a nationally recognized leader in post-Katrina recovery, veterans’ employment and social entrepreneurship. With affiliates in

New Orleans, Joplin, Missouri and New York City; SBP is an ever-evolving organization that is poised to become a national model for disaster recovery.

Client Services Manager plays a vital role in returning families affected by natural disaster back into safe and permanent housing, in a prompt, efficient, and predictable manner. Their leadership of a team of AmeriCorps Client Services Coordinators, and implementation of case management best practices, helps the St. Bernard Project achieve the mission of assisting those in need of residential reconstruction assistance while being treated like family.

Rebuilding Program - Client Services

● Manages implementation of grant program related to owner-occupied rebuilding

● Acts as liaison between construction and case management. Responsible for

● assuring that project managers are aware of upcoming projects in the pipeline

Supervises Client Services Coordinators to assure proper training and quality control

Acts as liaison between development and case management

Analyzes data weekly on client statistics include status in pipeline. Creates new policies and procedures based on this data under the guidance of the Director and

Regional Leadership

● Attends meetings as designated by the Director to promote and maintain relationships with stakeholder groups

General: Client Services Manager is an advocate and liaison to Hurricane Sandy survivors who have housing needs, from application to completion of construction and move in while working with clients to remove barriers to their recovery.

● Oversees attendance, deployment, and performance of all team members

Develops strategic programmatic goals and proper performance and allowances to the organization Director

Formulates recommendations for Director regarding AmeriCorps program staff assignments

● Assures all reporting requirements are met and delivered in a timely manner

● Maintains relationships with stakeholder groups, agencies and individuals

Assures all staff is knowledgeable and competent in practicing fiscal and human resource responsibilities appropriate to their job title and job functions
