Management of CCH employees, resources and assets to achieve an industry-leading quality of life (QOL) for seniors with limited resources by providing high quality, affordable housing with services. Key Result Areas Resident QOL Qualitative: Achieve industry-leading affordable housing quality of life (QOL) for independent seniors who have limited resources. Quantitative: Increase the number of residents served from 6,000 to 10,000 within ten years. Strategic and operational leadership Drive the organization’s strategy execution and program delivery. Oversee the leadership team in its day-to-day management of the organization. Improve organizational and leadership team professionalism and performance toward results. CCH industry reputation Maximize CCH’s ability to be awarded HUD funding, low income tax credits, property partnerships and property management contracts by achieving an ‘industry-leading, preferred participant’ reputation among federal, state, city agencies, potential partners and donors based upon resident QOL, operating efficiency, accuracy and compliance. Funding Expand CCH’s ability to receive funding from its current sources: HUD, LIHTC’s, property partnerships, property management contracts and philanthropy. Identify new/innovative funding sources. Establish the internal expertise to compare and evaluate funding sources to achieve optimal QOL for the residents and CCH’s growth goals. Successful leadership experience at a senior executive level. Knowledge of a wide range of governmental funding sources for affordable housing including HUD, LIHTC, CalHFA, HCD, Section 8, & PRAC. Knowledge of Fair Housing rules and regulations; experience with compliance preferred. Knowledge of property management including leasing, staffing, insurance and resident relations. Knowledge of real estate finance including mortgages, loan terms, forecasting, budget development and monitoring. Experience with or working knowledge of Finance, Fund-raising (Philanthropy), Human Resources, Technology and Administration. Effective communicator: speaks, writes and presents effectively; adjusts to fit the audience and the message; strongly and clearly gets a message across. Outstanding interpersonal skills to motivate, inspire and work in close collaboration with a wide variety of people at all levels and across cultures, and foster a healthy, work-life balance.
