1. Ridden Mountain & Moorland (open to registered & unregistered)
1st and 2nd placed registered will qualify for Balanced Horse Feed Championship and Sunshine

2. Family Horse/Pony * Snaffle bridle and cavesson noseband. No
whips,spurs or martingales. Horse suitable for riding by all members of the family.
3. Riding Club Pony (14.2hh & under) * required to jump approx. 0.80m
4. Riding Club Horse (over 14.2hh) * required to jump approx. 0.90m

6. Ridden Veteran Horse/Pony (16 yrs & over) *
1st and 2nd placed will qualify for Balanced Horse Feed Championship

Ring 1 Championship
Horses/Ponies placed 1st & 2nd in classes 1-9 qualify. Follows Class 9.
Ring 2 (Judge - TBC) Start 9.00am
10. Working Cob * required to jump approx. 0.80m
11. Novice Working Hunter required to jump approx. 0.80m
(Not to have been placed 1st-3rd in a Working Hunter or Cross Country competition)
12. Working Hunter Pony * (14.2hh & under) required to jump approx. 0.80
13. Open Working Hunter * (over 14.2hh) required to jump approx. 0.90m
Ring 2 Championship
Horses/Ponies placed 1st & 2nd in classes 10-13 qualify. Follows Class 13
Ring 2 (Judge – Mrs J Mallinson) Start 12.00pm
14. In Hand Mountain & Moorland (open to registered & unregistered)
1st and 2nd placed registered horse/pony will qualify for Balanced Horse Feed Championship
15. In Hand Youngstock. Horse/pony under 4years.
1st and 2nd placed registered mountain & moorland will qualify for Balance Horse Feed Championship
16. In Hand Cob
1st and 2nd placed will qualify for Balance Horse Feed Championship
Rules & Conditions of Entry
1. WVRC accepts no liability for any accident, injury, loss, or damage.
2. Events will be run under British Riding Club rules. See BRC’s
website for a full details.
3. Protective headgear, BSI Kite Marked to at least BS EN1384
or PAS015, must be worn by anyone mounted. The harness
must be properly adjusted and fastened. Failure to do so will incur
elimination.
4. It is advisable to wear a body protector in any class involving jumping.
5. Entries will be processed on a first come, first served basis.
6. Classes will run/may be split Junior & Senior/limited depending upon
number of entries.
7. Entry fees must accompany entry forms. No entries will be accepted
by telephone/email.
8. Entries, less a £5 admin fee per class, will be refunded on receipt of
a Vet/Doctor’s certificate, should a competitor wish to cancel.
9. Horses/ponies can be ridden only once in each class.
10. The decision of the judge is final in all matters, and the Committee
reserves the right to cancel/add to/ amend classes, refuse entry or
to ask any person to leave the ground.
11.No competitor shall ill-treat in any way a horse at the event..
12.Objections must be made directly to the Event/Show Secretary in
writing within 30 minutes of the relevant incident, and must be
accompanied by a £20 deposit (returnable if objection is sustained).
13.Should the event be cancelled, entry fees will be returned, less
£5 per class administrative costs.
14.To compete as a Junior you must not have reached the age of 18
before 1st January this year.
15.All Dressage tests are current tests.
16.Restriction for all dressage tests are that horses may hold no
BD points.
17.Dogs, where permitted, must be kept on a lead at all times.

The Sunshine Tour is an exciting Unaffiliated Championship Series in the
South-East featuring dressage, show jumping and showing. The Championship
Show will be held at Great Bookham Equestrian Centre on 27th & 28th
September 2014. There’s a wide choice of championship classes to
qualify for and fantastic prizes to be won.

Qualification
Dressage: 1st-6th qualifies in selected Walk & Trot and Prelim classes.
Show Jumping: 1st-6th qualify in selected classes: 2’/60cm, 2’6”/75cm,
2’9”/85cm, 3’/90cm. Must be clear in the first round.
Showing: 1st-6th qualifies in selected classes of In-hand, Ridden Showing
and Working Hunter.
If you qualify you’ll receive a Sunshine Tour qualification card –
simply register online or complete the card and send it in for an
information pack and details of how to enter the Sunshine Tour
Championship.
