National Demand = (Sum of all total generation) – (Sum of all Export or Import) 2. National Demand = (Sum of all feeders loading at hydropower station) – (Sum of all Export or Import) 3. National Demand = (Sum of all substation loading) For our record, we calculate the National Demand using method- 2 and method- 3. However total demand calculated using method- 3 will be exclusive of transmission losses.
