The Social Work Major requires a total of 27 Social Science Electives in the areas of Anthropology, Economics, History, Political
Science, Psychology and Sociology. The courses must be designated “SS” as General Education Requirements at UWM. Of the 27
credits, 15 must be from a single concentration and 12 credits must be from a combination of two or more subjects outside of the 15
credit concentration. MadATC offers qualifying courses in Economics, History, Psychology and Sociology. Ask your Academic Advisor
or a MadATC Transfer Specialist for assistance planning your schedule.
