Welcome to Ms. Karin’s Spirit in Motion! Thank you for choosing our studio to guide your children in exploring all of the beautiful gifts that dance has to offer. It is our goal to create a welcoming/nurturing environment where every child regardless of ability or skill level can learn, be confident and have fun! We want everyone to feel comfortable at our studio, so please take the time to look over all of the following information as it should answer any questions that may come up. You should keep this packet in a safe place for future reference. ♥The first class of each month you should stop by the front desk to pay your tuition balance. Please make sure to pay before the 10th of the month or a $10 dollar late fee for each week will be assessed. These late fees will be added to your balance, if not paid by the 10th of each month. ♥ If tuition has not been paid for 2 months. Your child will be pulled out of class until the tuition is made current. ♥Please make sure to “like” our business page on Facebook and request an invite to our Facebook group page “Dance Class Important Information.” Both places are a great way to keep up to date on important dates and information flowing throughout the studio. ♥Parents & family may watch classes through the observation windows at any time. As a courtesy, please leave room for others to watch as well. ♥Please do not bring fast food or any drinks that do not have a lid to secure your beverage! Please clean up after your child and encourage them to clean up after themselves after leaving the studio for the day. ♥Please keep attention to children playing in the lobby, as this is our dance home and we want to keep it a clean and healthy environment for all of our dancers and dance family members. ♥Please do not allow toddlers to eat, drink or play rambunctiously in the lobby. This needs to take place outside of the studio. ♥Drop off and pick up you dancer at the back of the studio. There should be no parents or individuals entering the dance room from the front, especially when class is in session. This is a curtesy to the dancers and the teacher, especially while class is in progress. ♥At no time should any parent enter the dance room while class is in progress, especially to pull a teachers focus away from the class or students. Please refrain from pulling an instructor out of the classroom in between classes as well. We have many outlets to communicate with Ms. Karin. Please allow class time to be comfortable for the students and the teachers. Your concerns are valuable to us, but will need to be addressed away from the classroom format. ♥Ms. Karin wants to be there for everyone, but many times that is not possible during class time and studio time. The needs of your child is always at the top of her priority list. ♥ Please be respectful of Ms. Karin by not staying at the studio after hours to speak to Ms. Karin about issues or concerns. Please do not come directly before class either. Ms. Karin needs time to prep for class and stay focused on your child’s class. In the evening she would like to go home to enjoy dinner with her own family. Therefore, it is important to set up a time where those concerns can be discussed one on one at a more appropriate time. This way she can truly focus on your needs. ♥ Studio doors will open 10 minutes till the beginning of the first class for the day. Again, Ms. Karin and her staff are prepping the studio or preparing for your child’s class. Please know that if you decide to come earlier than that, the dance room is still closed until 10 minutes before your child’s class time. Thank you for your understanding with this. ♥Regular attendance for the students is very important, especially before a performance. Regular attendance will result in your child’s confidence in themselves and their feeling of success in their classroom with their peers. ♥ Please notify Ms. Karin with any questions further questions. 353-428-2232 or karinmizell@gmail.com ♥ If there is an emergency and you cannot reach Ms. Karin, Please contact Shawn Mizell at 813-323-6846 ♥ Our website is a great source of information!
