Minutes
Minutes for October, 25 were read and a few corrections made.
Treasurer’s Report
Becky was out of town. She left the budget. Everything looks good. Contributions have been
made to the charities in our budget.
House
The meeting house furnace is 14 years old. It has been suggested that it needs to be
inspected by professionals this year. The last inspection was in 2012. Charlie volunteered to
call C&K for an inspection.
The leaves were raked by Susan, Charlie and AM.
AM Fink let us know that our snow removal service is Hinders Construction, 515 203-0303.
They come when we call. Costs $55 each time.
Ministry and Council
Hold Johanna and Earl and their daughter in law in the light as she faces lung cancer.
Peace and Social concerns
Deb is exploring creating an Ames area peace organization. First meeting is Dec. 10, 2015 at
the Unitarian Church, Ames.
Susan mentioned that she misses getting together to talk about what everyone is doing. A
suggestion was made to consider a brown bag lunch gathering at the meeting house.
The next potluck is Dec. 20 at the meeting house. That will be the Christmas Party. Susan
will email a reminder. Charlie will add it to the calendar.
