- The 2nd team listed is the home team and will wear light uniforms.
(For example, Marina vs. Ocean View, Ocean View is the home team and will wear light
uniform)

- Tiebreakers in pool play will be determined in the following order:
A. Head To Head Record
B. Total Points Least Allowed
C. Total Points Scored Minus Total Points Allowed
D. Tournament Director’s Discretion
3. Other Notes
A. The 2015 Ocean View Girls’ Basketball JV & F/S Holiday Classic is the sixth in
what we hope will be many competitive JV & F/S Tournaments that you come back to
year after year. If you sent one team this year, please consider sending back your other
level next year if your school offers one.
B. It is requested that:
1. You arrive to Ocean View, Santa Ana Valley, or Western at least 45 minutes
prior to your scheduled game time so we can keep the Tournament on time and
running smoothly.
2. All teams after shaking hands pick up their water bottles and other trash and
place them in any trash receptacle outside all gym doors.
3. You remind any parents and other spectators that there is an admission charge
at the door each day and there will also be a snack bar with drinks and snacks
open for their convenience at each location. Please also ask all of your spectators
to place any trash they may have in a convenient trash receptacle outside any gym
door.
C. The visitor’s bench is the one closest to the front entrance & the home bench is closest
to the locker room side of the gym at Ocean View. The visitor’s bench is on the far side
at Santa Ana Valley and the home bench is on the entrance side as you face them when
you walk in. At Western, the home bench is furthest from the entrance .
D. The Tournament Director is Steve Harris, Ocean View Girls’ JV/FS Head Coach. His
number is 714-702-9097 if you have any problems or questions during the Tournament.
If he doesn’t answer immediately, please leave a message and he will get back to you
ASAP.
E. If you need a locker room to change in or a place to talk with your team, please ask the
Tournament Director and every attempt will be made to accommodate you. You are our
guests and we take that responsibility seriously. If you have any other requests while you
are with us, please ask the Tournament Director.
F. Teams in the FS Tournament will not play at least one team in their pool, and there
will be one cross pool game per day.
G. The Tournament reserves the right to move a game time or an opponent on the final
day to keep league opponents from playing each other or to keep Santa Ana Valley,
Western, or Ocean View in their home gym as long as the game is not a Championship
contest. All Championship contests will be at Ocean View HS.
H. This year’s 2015 Ocean View Girls’ Basketball JV & FS Hawk Holiday Classic will
be played at Ocean View HS (17071 Gothard St. , Huntington Beach, CA. 92647), Santa
Ana Valley HS (1801 S. Greenville St. Santa Ana, CA. 92704), & Western HS (501 S.
Western Ave., Anaheim, CA. 92804).
