MEMBERSHIP You can also renew your membership on Friday 11th October from 3pm (straight after school) to 8.30pm at St Mary’s Church Hall Highdown Road. Sarah Earl (membership secretary) HELP WANTED FOR OUR NIGHT If anyone is interested in helping with picking up torches or pulling a Tar Barrels on our night then please get in touch with Sarah Ellis her email address is s.ellis76@live.com thank you FIRESITE ACCESS As a member of the society you will automatically get access to the fire site for the bonfire and firework display, however if you know anybody who is planning on coming to watch the display and is not a member or a member processing with one of the visiting societies, they will not be able to pay at the gate this year. Following discussions with the various authorities, access to the fire site will be by tickets only. These will be on sale in advance from Nevill Newsagents. PROGRAMMES This year’s programmes are now on sale if you are able to help with selling in a particular road or in the town. Programmes Contact is Phil Duncan email merchandise@njbs.co.uk. 2013 OUT MEETINGS The following are the out meetings that we currently plan to run coaches to; Saturday 5th October – Rotherfield Saturday 26th October – Fletching Saturday 2nd November – Newick Saturday 9th November – East Hoathly . we will also be attending South Heighton but will not be running a coach Saturday 26th November – Barcombe Roger Palmer is the primary contact for booking coaches, with his able assistant Pat Lee there number are Roger is 07535495556 or Pat is 07840200705 Members cost is £9 per coach most societies are now stipulating that a society may only march with them if they are insured and have been invited. To be able to march with Nevill at any of the out meetings you must therefore be a paid up member. If you are unsure if the society will be at an out meeting please check first. THANK YOU HELP NEED SECTION We always need lots off help on the day etc. We need marshals and if you are able to help with this please contact Kevin Miller or come along to the Marshals meeting at St Mary’s Supporters Club on Sunday 13th October at 7.30pm Oh yes this have to be done: don’t forget the cleaning up on Sunday 20th October from 8am. Nobody like this bit but it has to be done otherwise we wont be able to use the fire site and the church hall etc next year.
