John Fiveash, MD, and Evan Thomas, MD, PhD, from the University of Alabama, Birmingham, describe a technique of treating brain metastasis using a single isocenter on a modern linac at UAB. Dr. Fiveash will describe the evolution of SRS for treating multiple metastases: its role in 21st century neuro-oncology and how it benefits surgeons and patients. Dr. Thomas will go into details of their technique, and describe how it compares to conventional radiosurgery.
