Highbury Primary Curriculum and Literacy Overview 2015-2018
As a whole school we should include special days/weeks/events to further promote the cultural aspects of SMSC, including exploring and improving
understanding of and showing respect for different faiths and cultural diversity. There are planned opportunities for children to learn about British values
throughout the curriculum. The curriculum promotes opportunities for children to participate in artistic, musical, sporting and cultural opportunities through
challenges/competitions/dance workshops or performances/theatre trips and artists. These events are recorded in the Class Reflection book.
