NOTE: All replicated pieces to be aged by artificial oxidation (burning) and wire-brushing to help blend
with original materials. There are several sections to the cemeteries: Wards, Masonic, Miners Union,
Loose Hill, and Boot Hill.

Wards 21 – Consolidate, stabilize, reassemble and re-erect wooden obelisk found in pieces
inside the existing grave enclosure.
Wards 23 - Replicate and reinstall pickets and trim, replace 1 post.
Wards 40 (downhill right of Bell, left of Angel/Evelyn) - Consolidate and stabilize, or replicate
as needed 4 posts, caps, trim, pickets, rails, bottom boards, finials and/or other original
features as can be determined by original remnants and historic photographs (small diamondtop corner posts). Re-erect on gravesite.
Wards 41 – (Evelyn/Angel) Consolidate and stabilize, or replicate as needed 4 posts, caps,
trim, pickets, rails, bottom boards, finials and/or other original features as can be determined
by original remnants and historic photographs. Do not replicate gate. Reinstall on gravesite.
Wards 47 – Consolidate, stabilize or replicate as needed original pickets and trim features.
Wards 48A - Consolidate, stabilize or replicate as needed original pickets and trim features.
Wards 48B - Consolidate, stabilize or replicate as needed original pickets and trim features.
Wards 49 - Consolidate and stabilize, or replicate as needed 4 posts, caps, trim, pickets, rails,
bottom boards, finials and other original features as can be determined by original remnants
and historic photographs. Re-erect on gravesite.
Wards 52 (uphill left from Vance) - Consolidate and stabilize or replicate as needed posts,
caps, trim, finials, pickets or balusters, rails, bottom boards and/or other features as can be
determined by original remnants and historic photographs. Re-erect on gravesite. (3 posts, 2
long side rails with notches for wide, thick pickets, channeled top rail all onsite.)
Wards 55 a and b – Consolidate and stabilize or replicate as needed posts, caps, trim, finials,
pickets, rails, bottom boards and/or other features as can be determined by original remnants
and historic photographs. Re-erect on gravesite. This is two graves, side by side.
Wards 57 - Consolidate and stabilize or replicate as needed additional trim, pickets, finials
and/or other features as can be determined by original remnants and historic photographs.
Install on existing fencing.
Wards 61 - Consolidate and stabilize or replicate as needed additional trim, pickets, finials
and/or other features as can be determined by original remnants and historic photographs.
Install on existing fencing.
13. Wards 62 - Consolidate and stabilize or replicate as needed additional trim, balusters, and/or
other features as can be determined by original remnants and historic photographs. Install on
existing fencing.
14. Wards 64 A (left from 62 with pointy top, 3 small pointed posts extant with pickets and rails;
this is a child-size fence. ) Consolidate and stabilize or replicate as needed posts, caps, trim,
finials, balusters, pickets, rails, bottom boards and/or other features as can be determined by
original remnants and historic photographs. Re-erect on gravesite.
15. Wards 64B – (4 big posts, side rails, trim extant) Consolidate and stabilize or replicate as
needed posts, caps, trim, finials, balusters, pickets, rails, bottom boards and/or other features
as can be determined by original remnants and historic photographs. Re-erect on gravesite.
16. Wards 80 – Consolidate and stabilize or replicate as needed posts, caps, trim, finials, balusters,
pickets, rails, bottom boards and/or other features as can be determined by original remnants
and historic photographs. Re-erect on gravesite.

other features as can be determined by original remnants and historic photographs. Re-erect
or attach to existing fencing.
22. MU 11 – (right and uphill from Jackson) Consolidate and stabilize, or replicate as needed 4
posts, caps, trim, pickets, balusters, rails, bottom boards, finials and/or other original features
as can be determined by original remnants and historic photographs. Re-erect on gravesite.
23. MU 12 (Jackson) - Consolidate and stabilize, or replicate as needed 4 posts, caps, trim, pickets,
balusters, rails, bottom boards, finials and/or other original features as can be determined by
original remnants and historic photographs. Re-erect on gravesite.
24. MU 12C – Consolidate and stabilize, or replicate as needed 4 posts, caps, trim, pickets or
balusters, rails, bottom boards, finials and/or other original features as can be determined by
original remnants and historic photographs. Re-erect on gravesite.

33. MU 25A (downhill from Deigman marker) – Consolidate and stabilize and replicate as needed
one wooden grave marker. Marker is in situ but badly deteriorated. Re-erect replica, original
to go to storage.
34. MU 34 - Consolidate and stabilize, or replicate as needed 4 posts, caps, trim, pickets,
balusters, rails, bottom boards, finials and/or other original features as can be determined by
original remnants and historic photographs. Re-erect on gravesite.
35. MU 65 – (Left and uphill from Jackson) Consolidate and stabilize, or replicate as needed 4
posts, caps, trim, pickets, balusters, rails, bottom boards, finials and/or other original features
as can be determined by original remnants and historic photographs. Re-erect on gravesite.
LOOSE HILL AREA
36. Unidentified grave: Consolidate and stabilize, or replicate as needed 4 posts, caps, trim,
pickets or balusters, rails, bottom boards, finials and/or other original features as can be
determined by original remnants and historic photographs. Re-erect on gravesite.
BOOT HILL AREA
37. Rosa May’s grave – Stabilize, conserve or replicate, as appropriate, original design and
reinstall the fence with crossed side rail design, based on remaining originals rails, posts,
remnants and historic photographs.
ADDITIONAL REPLICATION WORK:
Replicate 12 existing wooden grave markers and erect in
designated locations throughout cemetery. Originals are in storage. Wood must match wood used in
originals, and match original full dimensions. Original dimension vary.
