Scholarship Eligibility 2015-2016 Department of Sociology To be eligible for a Department of Sociology Scholarship, students must: 1. Be a declared Sociology major. 2. Have a minimum 3.5 cumulative GPA (if transferring, must have a 3.5 from the school transferring from. If a student at the University of Utah, must have a 3.5 GPA at the University) 3. Must be a Utah resident. 4. Must attend a minimum of 12 credit hours per semester during the time that the scholarship money is dispersed (the scholarship will cover up to 18 credit hours per semester). 5. Must be a U.S. Citizen.
