Career Ready Forum – Prepare for Your Career
Opportunities for currently enrolled penultimate and final year Bachelor of Business and Bachelor of Arts students.
The Careers & Employer Liaison Centre will be hosting a Career Ready Forum for penultimate (second to last year of
study) and final year Flinders University students from Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Business Degrees.
The forum will be held on Wednesday 12th June 2013 from 5.30pm – 8.30pm in the Adelaide CBD.
What’s involved?
This forum is designed to assist you to better plan and prepare for your transition from university to employment as a
graduate.
The event will incorporate a keynote speaker, two facilitated panels comprised of industry professionals and recent
Flinders’ graduates and conclude with an opportunity for networking between our panellists, your fellow students and
staff from the Careers & Employer Liaison Centre.
Through conversation based ‘Q & A’ sessions our panellists will offer you their advice, experience and knowledge
covering topics including:

Hints and tips when applying for graduate / undergraduate employment opportunities
Effective interview techniques
How to network effectively
The provision of advice from employers who recruit graduates
Useful information from graduates about their journeys since graduating

Career Ready Forum Preparation Sessions To participate in the Forum on the 12th June you will be required to attend one of our one hour Career Ready Forum
Preparation Sessions in the first instance.
The three, repeated, preparation sessions will be held as follows:
