The biography of my ancestor
His name was Charles
Roullet. He was my greatgrandfather. He had blue
eyes and he wasn’t very tall.
He was beautiful and he
was very elegant.
He was born on the nineteenth of February in nineteen
eight in Rouen. He was from Grand-Queville in France. He
was French. His parents were Louis Roullet and Marie
Charrin.
He married Marguerite Robert on the nineteenth of May
in nineteen thirty-six in Moulins. He had nine children.
Their names were Yvonne, Anne, Louis, André, Cécile,
Marc, Thérèse, Jacqueline and Philippe. His nickname
«Grand-Père».
He did a business school and he became the director of
a factory. He moved to the USA, Spain and Germany but he
didn’t live there. He lived in Rouen.
He was famous in the family because he had nine
children and he took care of one of his nephews.
He died on the twenty-eight of December in nineteen
ninety-two because he had the cancer of lung and VCA.
So, I never met him!
