Player Foul Rule for Super Showcases A player will be disqualified on her 6th personal foul in the 8th grade, Freshman, Sophomore, Junior and Live Time Closeout events. Playing Times Districts may determine the length of games in their Qualifying Tournaments. However, it is strongly recommended that Districts follow the times used in the National Championships below. In addition, in the 2nd to 7th grade National Championship Tournaments, a running clock will be used in the second half when a team is behind by 30 or more points. Regular rules will return if at any time the spread falls below 30 points. The losing coach may opt to ignore this rule at any time. Penalty for breaking the 15-point rule mentioned above is a warning for the first offense and an administrative technical foul for the second offense. If the rule is broken a third time, a technical foul goes to the coach. Timeouts Three full (75 seconds) timeouts and two 30 second timeouts in the 2nd grade, 3rd grade, 4th grade, 5th grade, 6th grade and 7th grade divisions. Four full (75 seconds) timeouts and two 30 second timeouts in the 8th grade, 9th grade, 10th grade, 11th grade, 12th grade and Showcase events. Dress Code All coaches and bench personnel must adhere to the official AAU dress code. No hats, no jeans, no open toe shoes and must have a collared shirt. Dress shorts and sneakers are permitted Player release forms If you have a player that once played for another AAU club, you must have present the official release form with you at all times. Players that have not been released by the first team and have played a game with their new team, will result in a forfiet of the games that she has played in already Uniforms The home team will be listed on top and/or first. They must where the white or light colored jersey. Numbers must be on the front and back of the jerseys. If a player wishes to wear a t shirt under her jersey, the color of the t shirt must be the same color as the jersey she is wearing at the time Players playing on two teams A player may choose to play on two different teams from the same club if she qualifies by grade and/or age (please see the rules for a player wishing to play down on the rule tab). This player MAY NOT play one two different teams in the same grade (6th grade DI and 6th grade DII). She may play for 2 teams from the same club if they are participating in 2 different grades (6th grade DI and 5th Grade DI or DII). The player can also play up (6th Grade DI and 7th grade DI or DII). We will strictly enforce the 5 game rule limit. If you have a player that is playing on two teams, please make sure you tell the person at the check in table the players name, teams and club. We will indicate this and follow the amount of games she plays in. THE DIRECTOR OF THE STATE TOURNAMENT HAS THE FINAL DECISION ON ALL PROTESTS AND RULES
