Eustis High School Seniors Only Various amounts of money are given to seniors in the top 25% of
the graduating class. Students need at least two letters of recommendation and must write a short

Eustis High School Students only $1000-$12000 is available to any senior who completes an
application package, has three letters of recommendation and resume. An interview with the

Lake County/Community Scholarships
Florida Retired Education Foundation
Various amounts of money are given to any senior in Lake County Schools who plan to attend
college to become teachers. SAT scores need to 1000 and ACT 22 DEADLINE: January
Lake Eustis Chamber of Commerce
Savings Bond or $500.00 is awarded to students in grades 9-12 in Lake County Schools. An essay is
required and an interview with the scholarship committee. DEADLINE: February
Village Opera Club
This is the Harold S. Schwartz Music Scholarship. Any senior in Lake, Marion or Sumter County
with a 3.0 GPA, enrolled in a college/ university with a major or minor in music may apply. See

Lake County Education Association (LCEA)
Four $1000 scholarships are available to any senior who has a parent/grandparent in the LCEA. This
scholarship is also known as the Cynthia Schumacher Scholarship. DEADLINE: March
Visual Arts Association/The Villages
Four $1000 and one $2000 scholarships are available to any senior in Lake, Marion or Sumter
Counties, with a 3.0 GPA and plans to major in Visual Arts in college/university. An interview with

SECO Scholarship
Twelve $2500 scholarships are available to any senior who resides in a home served by SECO and
plans to attend a college/university. DEADLINE: March
Women’s Committee of Fine Arts in Mt. Dora
Any senior who plans to major in art, music, dance, or drama may complete this application. A
committee will review the applications and an audition will be schedules before monies are awarded.

Two $500 scholarships for female seniors who are registered Democrats and have a 3.5 GPA

Two $1000 scholarships are available o any senior whose parents/guardian are employed by the

One $750 scholarship for any senior who plans to attend a 2 or 4 year college, has at least a 3.0

Any minority senior, with at least a 2.0 GPA can apply. A letter of recommendation is needed from

Three $1000 scholarships are available to any senior who plans to attend a
college/university/community college/technical school, has a 3.0 GPA, two letters of

Two $500 scholarships for seniors with at least a 2.5 GPA and demonstrate financial need.

A completed application, letter of recommendation from School Administrator or Guidance and a

Various scholarships are available to any member of Am Vets or a son/daughter of a member.

A $1000 scholarship for any senior who resides in Lake County, 2.5 GPA, demonstrate some

Any senior who was a Head Start Student, has a 2.5 GPA, community service, letter of acceptance
