EU-LIFE Tumour Microenvironment and Metastasis PhD course (EU-TMM) Organizers: Janine Erler (BRIC), Mohamed Bentires-Alj (Momo) (FMI) and Francois-Clement Bidard (Institut Curie) 3 days 25-27th May 2016, 30 hours in total ~2,4 ECTS credits 30 attendees in total (15 via Danish graduate school, 15 from EU-LIFE) Course info including papers to be presented sent out in advance + 1 review paper. In general: Before the course the 3 journal club papers + a review paper covering background info for all topics will be send to all participants. Attendants will be chosen based on a brief motivation letter. The participants will be asked to forward questions from their reading to the coordinator before the course (ask before or at the course). Participants will be divided in 3 groups, each responsible for 1 journal club half the group will be responsible for presenting the paper, the other half of the group will be responsible for wrapping up the day´s topic. Signing up: For EU-LIFE students: Signing up should be done via a common EU-LIFE website– everybody should upload a motivation letter. For Not EU-LIFE students(everybody else): Signing up must be done via Graduate School of health sciences, KU, Denmark Deadline: April 1st 2016. Upon deadline the participants will be selected (on the basis of their motivation letter and field of work).
