Show office opens by 8am. Entries for stake classes will be taken up to ½
hour before the class.
Day Fees: $30 Rescue 100 Member fee per horse and rider combination
$35 NON Members fee per horse and rider combination
Single
Walk/Trot- $5 (no cross entry, with exception of the costume class)
Class Fees: Bareback Bill- $5 (Payable at the gate: winner takes all)
Stake English & Western- $15 per stake class entered
Over fences/Hunter Hack classes- $10 as a one-time fee to cover costs
$5 per class fee if entered in ≤ 2 classes (Day Fee waived)
ie) Walk trot and costume class
Prize
Stake payout: 1st Place: $20, 2nd: $15, 3rd: $10 4th: $5, (ribbons to 5th)
Money:
100% Payout on Bareback Bill
Rules and Regulations:
 The show committee reserves the right to CANCEL, COMBINE OR DIVIDE
THE CLASSES AS THE ENTRIES WARRANT.
 CLASSES WITH OVER 20 HORSES MAY BE SPLIT INTO TWO CLASSES.
1. This is a TRAINING SHOW! However, any unruly or disruptive horses WILL be
excused from the class. Show clothes are NOT required. All tack must be safe
and serviceably sound. At the judge’s discretion horses ridden with excessive
training equipment may not be placed.
a. English classes: English type saddle, bridle with a snaffle bit, Pelham, or
double bridle (chinstrap for leverage type bits) two hands on the reins.
Proper boots with a heel are required.
b. Western Classes: Western saddle with saddle blanket or pad. Bridle can
be either snaffle(with two hands on reins) or a curb(leverage) bit with one
hand on reins. Leverage buts must be equipped with a proper leather or
flat chain chinstrap. Riders must have a boot with a heel.
2. NOTICE: RESCUE 100 requires that all junior riders wear ASTM safety
approved helmets in the show in all classes. We recommend the use of
helmets by adults.
3. Stallions are not allowed to be handled or ridden by junior exhibitors(under 18)
4. ALL HORSES MUST BE KEPT SECURE (Absolutely no tying to the hitching
ring, all dogs on leash and children must be controlled on the show grounds for
the safety of everyone.
5. Horses showing signs of a contagious disease will not be permitted to enter the
show grounds. If your horse is sick please leave him/her at home.
6. Water will be available, BRING YOUR OWN BUCKETS- Feed WILL NOT be
supplied- BRING YOUR OWN!
7. Abuse of horses WILL NOT be tolerated on the show grounds
8. Riding at excessive speed or in an unsafe manner will not be tolerated
9. Lunch break will be announced (Approximately half hour long; depending on how
fast the classes are running). There will be a concession open.
10. There will be garbage containers provided on the show grounds please use
them!

RELEASE AND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
EVERY PARTICIPANT IN RESCUE 100 CHARITY HORSE SHOW SHALL CAREFULLY READ THIS NOTICE BEFORE SIGNING; NO
PARTICIPANT SHALL BE ALLOWED TO COMPETE PRIOR TO SIGNING THIS FORM AS REQUIRED.
“Inherent risks of equine activities”; shall mean those dangers or conditions which are integral part of equine activities,
including but not limited to:
(1)The propensity of any equine to behave in ways that may result in injury, harm or death to persons on or
around them and/or damage to property in their vicinity.
(2) The unpredictability of an equine’s reaction to such things as sound, sudden movements and unfamiliar
objects, person or other animals;
(3)Collisions with other equines, animals people and objects;
(4) The potential of a participant to act in an negligent manner that may contribute to the participant or others
such as failing to maintain control over the equine or to act within his or her ability. Neither KENO HILLS STABLE,
KENO HILLS STABLE STAFF, RESCUE 100 Volunteers, Staff, Colchester Agricultural Society, HORSE SHOWCASE the
organizing committee, the show committee, officials volunteers, staff, nor agents shall in any way be liable for
any accident, injury damage, loss or for any other matter that may happen to exhibitors, competitors, owners
agents or to anyone on the grounds or to any animal or article brought to the grounds.
It is to be understood and agreed that by making any entry in RESCUE 100 OPEN HORSE SHOW, all exhibitors,
competitors, owners agents and representatives acknowledge that equestrian sports involve inherent dangerous risks
and do hereby indemnify and hold harmless the RESCUE 100, RESCUE 100 STAFF, RESCUE 100 Volunteers, RESCUE 100
OPEN FUN SHOW, STRATHCONA OLYMPIETTE CENTRE(FULTONVALE), Colchester Agricultural Society, HORSE
SHOWCASE and singular, the owners, directors officers, members, employees, agents and volunteers thereof from and
against any and all loss, costs of expenses, or any claim thereof whatever nature arising for and on account, or by reason
of participation in this show.

This release and acknowledgement shall remain in effect for the duration of RESCUE 100 FOUNDATION CHARITY HORSE
SHOW, and until all horses and property of the signee have been removed from the grounds.
THE SHOW WILL GO RAIN OR SHINE, THE ALTERNATIVE VENUE IS KENO HILLS STABLES WEATHER PERMITTING! It will
