South West Pony Association (SWPA) Championships
This show is a qualifier for the South West Pony Association Championships to be held on 6/7/8 September 2013
at the David Broome Event Centre, Crick, Gwent.
To qualify for the Championships:
1. Enter one of the qualifying classes;
2. Be one of the two highest placed exhibits not already qualified within the first four and receive a
qualification card signed in the ring;
3. Complete the entry form on the qualification card;
4. Return the card together with any registration fees due within 14 days of this show.
Please note: Registration fees for 2013 are £25 to include all members of the family and equines owned
by the family
Equifest Qualifiers
The two highest placed exhibits not already qualified will qualify for the relevant Equifest Championship to be
held at the East of England Showground on the 14th – 18th August 2013.

Royal London Show Qualifiers
1st, 2nd & 3rd placed horses/ponies in eligible classes will qualify for the Champion of Britain title classes to be
held at the Royal London show 2013. Each qualified horse/pony will receive a qualification card in the ring which
will enable the owner to enter the Royal London Show, provided the owner and rider/handler are, or become
registered with the International Showing Show within 28 days of the qualifying show. No horse registration is

TSR Riders
Championships
The following classes 12-16, 18-21, 28, 31-32 & 44- 48 are qualifiers for the TSR Riders Championships at the
Gala Show, 20th & 21st July 2013, Arena (UK), Grantham. TSR members have 1 FREE entry. Full details at

Troon Show Committee Rules & Regulations

Any animal or competitor found by the Committee to be behaving inappropriately will be asked to leave
the showground immediately.

Although the Committee will make every effort to avoid class clashes due to the number of classes
being held clashes may be unavoidable. In that event competitors will be expected to choose which
class they wish to enter. No refunds will be given but we will, where possible, change entries to another
class of your choice.

All trophy-winners will be asked to pay a £10.00 refundable deposit on all trophies. No trophy will be
released without a £10.00 deposit being paid.

Trophies won on 11th May 2013 must to be returned to the secretaries by 31st March 2014.

The judges’ decision is final.

Any complaint must be made in writing to the Secretary, Miss C Pascoe accompanied by a cheque for
£20. Complaints will be investigated in full within 20 working days.

All competitors will park where specified by the parking attendants on the day. Failure to comply with
the attendants’ instructions may result in disqualification from the show.

Stallions may not be shown in hand or ridden by any junior who has not attained their 14 th birthday
before 1st January in the current year.

Correct British Standard headgear conforming to PAS015 or EN1384 or ASTMF1163 or current
standards to be warn at all times when mounted with chinstraps fastened.

All ridden ponies must be 4 years old and over.

Any foals being shown must be a minimum of three weeks old on the day of the show.
Unaccompanied Competitors must provide the Show Organiser a contact telephone number in case of an
emergency.
