Session Highlights
The main focus of this workshop will be building knowledge of co-teaching styles. Emphasis will be placed on coteaching in classrooms with small group instruction at the secondary level and how to build parity between educators
and other professionals. Information will be provided about the importance and effectiveness of co-teaching and how
co-teaching impacts students with and without disabilities. Practical discussion and problem solving will provide
immediately usable suggestions to increase teachers’ abilities to be effective in the co-teaching environment.
