Make sure the sound or your speakers on the computer are turned on
Open up your web browser using Firefox not Internet Explorer
Go to http://ung.edu/myung
Click on eLearning (D2L)
Sign into eLearning (D2L) using your normal system username and password
On right hand side of screen, select “USG Ethics Basic Course”
If you do not see this course, you may have to search for it by typing in “USG” in the search bar
above “MY Courses”. If you do not have a search bar, click on the down arrow just to the right
of “My Courses”. This will bring up a search screen where you can search for “USG”.
Then select “Ethics Basic Course”
Next select “ Ethics Policy Video”
Next select “Ethics Policy Presentation”
On the left hand side of the screen, start by clicking on “How to Use Program”
After each video segment is completed, click on the next session on the left hand side of the
screen
Continue in this manner until the last section “Policies” is completed
Once the video for Policy # XIII is completed, close out this screen by clicking on the “X” in the
upper right hand corner of the screen
You will now be back at the screen pictured below
16. Following the instructions above, click on the “Next Arrow” to advance to the Quiz
17. Click on the “Start Quiz” at the bottom of the screen and then click on “OK” on the Confirmation
Pop-up screen
18. After answering each question on the Quiz, click on “Save All Responses” at the bottom of the
page and then click on “Go to Submit Quiz”
19. On the next screen, click on “Submit Quiz” and then click on “Yes, Submit Quiz” on the
Confirmation Pop-up” screen
20. The results of your Quiz can be found at the bottom of the screen. If you made 80% or higher,
you are now ready to complete the compliance section of the training. Click on the right hand
“Next Arrow” and complete steps 21-24 below.
If you did not make 80% or higher, you must retake the quiz (refer to the screen shot and
corresponding information at the end of these instructions)
21. At the bottom of the screen click on “Start Quiz” and then click on “OK” on the Confirmation
Pop-up screen
22. Make your choice – “ Agree to comply” or “Do not agree to comply”
23. Click on “Save All Responses” and then “Go to Submit Quiz”
24. Click on “Submit Quiz” and then select “Yes, Submit Quiz” on the Confirmation Pop-up screen
25. You have now completed the required Ethics Basic Training and may log out of eLearning
IF YOU DID NOT SCORE 80% OR HIGHER ON THE QUIZ, SEE INSTRUCTIONS BELOW
As per the instructions above, click on Quizzes button at top of your screen. Select Quiz – Basic Course
and then return to Step 16 and begin again.
