Agricultural Plastics Recycling Program
The Saddle Hills County Agricultural Department provides an agricultural plastics recycling program to
assist residents with proper disposal of agricultural plastics.
Clean, bundled grain bags and triple rinsed, punctured pesticide containers are accepted at the
Blueberry and Bonanza Waste Collection Sites. A private company collects the pesticide containers for
recycling. The County is working towards recycling grain bags. The Province is working towards a
recycling program for agricultural plastics such as grain bags, bale wrap, mini bulk bags, and twine.
