Galvanic Machine, Hot Cabinet/ Sanitizer, Trolley, Facial Bed and Dustbin.
MODELS CRITERIA :
Female aged between 18 – 40 years old

INSTRUCTIONS TO THE COMPETITOR:
You are required to perform a commercially acceptable Facial treatment using manual
manipulations and the galvanic machine (Iontophoresis).
The treatment should include:

- No jewellery
- Hair is tied back off face and shoulders, not loose pony tails
- Uniform is clean, pressed, trousers not touching the floor
- Presence, posture is maintained
- Demeanour is pleasant and welcoming

- Treatment routine selected and sequenced according to specified client skin type.
- Areas of the skin requiring special treatment and any contra - indications identified

CLEANSING PROCEDURE
- Client's skin cleansed thoroughly
- All makeup thoroughly removed and no makeup residue is visible
- Skin is toned and ready for exfoliation. CHECKPOINT
- Client's skin steamed for required length of time according to skin type
- Client's skin exfoliated leaving no beads of product on the skin or surrounding area. CHECKPOINT
- Minor blemishes extracted/removed according to skin piercing regulations and Health & Hygiene
requirements.
(If client doesn’t need extractions, candidate must demonstrate procedure.)
- No trauma is caused to the skin.
MACHINE USED

- GALVANIC Treatment carried out according to machine & product used and client’s needs.
MASSAGE PROCEDURE
Signal timekeeper
- Massage medium chosen according to client’s needs.
- Range of massage movements(including Effleurage,Petrissage,Tapotement,Friction, Vibration)
- Demonstrated for a time of no less than 20 minutes
- Rhythm, repetition and variation of massage movements suited to elasticity of skin and skin
condition.
- Massage medium removed correctly with hot compressors prior to the application of the mask

MASK SELECTION & MOISTURIZER TREATMENT
- Apply Contour Mask to the face and neck
- Mask is applied evenly with neat edges
- Remove mask without leaving any residue on the skin.

Time allocated: 1hour 30 minutes [ 90 minutes]

Scissors, Glass Bowl, Bowl, Bathrobe, Bed Cover, Small Towels, Big Towels, Body Towel, Body
Sponge And Room Slippers, Disposable Spatula, Disposable Bed Cover, Bathrobe,
TOOLS/EQUIPMENTS:
Hot Cabinet/Sanitizer, Trolley, Facial Bed, Wax Pots And Dustbin.
INSTRUCTIONS TO THE COMPETITOR:
You are required to perform a commercially acceptable Waxing treatment on
1. to the front and back of both legs includes 1 hand length (4 fingers) above the crease of the knee
including feet and toes with warm wax
2. under arms with hot wax.
The treatment should include:

- Wax melted and maintained at the correct temperature.
Client
- Prepare client for treatment according to health and hygiene requirements.
- Treatment routine selected and sequenced according to specified client treatment plan.
Waxing Procedures on the legs four (4) fingers above the knees
- Areas of the skin/hair growth requiring treatment identified.
- Pre wax cleansing lotion used to prepare skin for treatment.
- Talcum is applied on the leg area to be waxed.
- Strip Wax prepared and tested for correct temperature.
- No double dipping is permitted.
- Wax is applied in a thin even layer in the direction of the hair growth.
- Wax strip is removed correctly against the hair growth pattern.
- Minimum redness noted on the client’s skin.
- Skin support maintained throughout treatment.
- No hair left on legs after treatment. (No tweezing allowed on the leg area.)

Nail Sanding File, Dotting Pen,Gel Art Brush, UV Lamp, Hot Cabinet/Sanitizer, Trolley, Facial Bed
and Dustbin.
INSTRUCTIONS TO COMPETITORS
You are required to perform a commercially acceptable Gel Nail Art on a pair of Human hands based
on the picture provided.
The treatment should include:

CUTICLE AND SIDEWALL THINNESS
- Product is blended into the nail edge without a ledge at the base area of the nail on the Thumbs,
Index, Middle, Ring and Little fingers.
- Wall line with no fanning or bulging over the Thumbs, Index, Middle, Ring and Little fingers.
- High point (Apex) of the nail well-balanced on the stressed area of the Thumbs, Index, Middle, Ring
and Little fingers.
- The side walls of the nails are parallel and straight.
GEL NAIL ART (refer to picture provided)
- Nails painted with blue gel color.
- Place painted nails under UV lamp to dry
- Nails painted with lemon yellow gel color.
- Place painted nails under UV lamp to dry.
- Nails painted with pink gel color as per picture.
- Place painted nails under UV lamp to dry.
- Apply clear gel over the fully painted nails.
- Place painted nails under UV lamp to dry.
- Fantasy strips drawn on the nails as per picture in black and white colors.
- Enhance strips with white dots as per picture for the thumbs, index, ring and little fingers.
- Extra five white dots forming a floral design are done on the Middle fingers.
- Top coat applied evenly and neatly over all the nails.
- Place painted nails under UV lamp to dry.

INSTRUCTIONS TO THE COMPETITOR:
You are required to perform a commercially acceptable Body Treatment complete with Scrub,
Wrap, Mask and Massage.
The treatment should include:

Body Exfoliation procedure

- The therapist prepares the mask.

INSTRUCTIONS TO THE COMPETITOR:
You are required to perform a commercially acceptable Fantasy makeup on the forehead, left
cheek, neck, shoulder and arm area.

- Prepare client for makeup according to health and hygiene requirements.

Foundation Base
- Foundation – suitable for Fantasy look and the client’s skin tone.
- Foundation well blended in, leaving no lines of demarcation.
Forehead
- Fantasy colors used on forehead are lemon yellow, blue tones and pink.
- Fantasy design on forehead is outlined in black with white dots.
Eye area
- Fantasy design on both lower eyelids in white and black colors in compliance with the picture.
- Colours on both eyes (black and white) applied in compliance with the picture.
- Fantasy eye colours are blended correctly.
