Activity 1: Thought Leaders Symposium #9 2014 – Leveraging Facility Assets to Achieve Institutional Success Symposium held in April, 2014 in New Orleans, LA Talking points presented to GAPPA conference in May, 2014 Briefing provided to the SFO Summit on July, 2014 and Executive Summary provided Monograph completed September, 2014 The full monograph appeared in the Facility Manager Magazine in the Fall of 2014 An executive summary of the monograph will be distributed to institutional reps and HE Associations The monograph was available on the APPA Website in October, 2014 Activity 2: Thought Leaders Symposium # 10 2015 – Bricks & Clicks, The Integration of Technology with Campus Facilities and Facilities Management Member Feedback Session held with Committees and Board at APPA 2014 Conference Futuring Sessions at APPA 2014 Conference Planning Session held at APPA office August 7-8, 2014 and December, 2014 Second work session held January 9, 2015 at APPA Office Planning Conference Calls held in January through March Activity 3: Thought Leaders Symposium # 10 2015 – Bricks & Clicks, The Integration of Technology with Campus Facilities and Facilities Management Symposium was held April 20-22, 2015 in Austin , TX Outcomes from TLS 2015 o Member Briefing at the GAPPA Meeting by Lander Medlin o APPA 2015 - SFO & EP Session, Briefing and Executive Summary o APPA 2015 Track Session on Utilizing the TLS Monograph o Monograph in FM Magazine over two Fall issues o Presentations at Regional Meetings o Track 4 of the Fall 2015 and Winter 2016 Leadership Academy – session by Lander Medlin o CFaR topics and Educational Program Development for APPA 2016 Activity 4: Thought Leaders Symposium # 11 2016 – Remaking the Facilities Organization Planning Session held at APPA office July 9-10, 2015 Planning meeting set for December, 2015 Second work session to be held January 7-8, 2016 at APPA Office Summit to be held at Rancho Las Palmas in April, 2016
