“The Heart of It All” Forensics Tournament Hosted by Muskingum University New Concord, Ohio November 6-7, 2015 The Ohio Forensics Association is pleased to invite you to an open forensics tournament at Muskingum University on November 6-7. We will be offering 4 rounds of Parliamentary and LD debate beginning on Friday and eleven individual events in a two round tournament on Saturday. Awards will be presented to all finalists and the top three school sweepstakes winners. You will be able to enjoy Ohio hospitality while you are here. We will be providing a pizza dinner on Friday night for the debaters and a sack lunch on Saturday for all competitors. New Concord has a brand new luxury hotel opening in October with whom we have secured a block of rooms for $119 a night. See below for details as well as for other hotel options that you may prefer. Debaters may enter only one event in Bracket A. Please enter the tournament at www.forensicstournament.net and please enter by 5:00 on Tuesday, November 3. Changes can be made with no penalty until 5:00 Wednesday. Late drops are $10 each. No charge for name changes. Fees: Debate is $30 per debate team; IE is $10 per slot. Hospitality charge is $5 per person, per day. Judges: Please provide 1 judge for every 2 debate teams and/or 1 judge for every 6 IE slots. Uncovered debate slots are $50 each and uncovered IE slots are $10 each. All judges are experienced and/or have been trained by the University Director of Forensics in standard individual events and debate.
