Abstract Submission Guidelines
Abstracts for oral presentations are encouraged and welcomed. The Scientific Committee will review all
abstracts. All abstracts must be submitted electronically and written in English. Presenters are
encouraged to submit a manuscript to the Journal of Lower Genital Tract Disease following the
presentation in New York, New York.
Guidelines
Abstracts must be submitted no later than the JAN 1, 2015.
Language: English.
Size: Single US Letter (8.5 X 11) 300 word maximum.
Font: Times New Roman, single space and justified.
FONT SIZE 12
Title: Each word should begin with a capital letter except transition words. All abstracts must
contain a title.
Author: Presenting Author should be underlined. Followed by Affiliation. See sample:

A structured abstract of 300 words or less. The abstract should contain 4 paragraphs with the following
headings: (1) Objectives, stating the hypothesis(es) of the study; (2) Methods, including the means
for problem solving, the subjects (number and relevant characteristics), the intervention studied, and a
brief statistical analysis; (3) Results, including the outcome of the study and statistical significance;
and (4) Conclusions, stating the outcome importance.
-Write abstracts in the active voice. Express ideas briefly, clearly, and concisely.
-Use only standard abbreviations (4). Spell out all abbreviations in full preceding their first usage in the
text.
-For drugs, devices, or patented procedures, state the generic or common name, followed in
parentheses by the trade name (optional), city, and country of manufacture.
