
Travel to various agencies within the community to gain knowledge of services provided. Arrange visits
to selected agencies for other Morgridge Center staff.

Work with Dane County Community Agencies to ensure that they are registered and that their volunteer
opportunities are appropriately listed. Train agencies on data entry for our new comprehensive data base.

Make volunteer coordinators aware of service learning. Providing information on what it is and how it
can be a ‘win-win’ situation with their participation.

Recruit UW Athletes to participate with an out-reach program titled, “Bookin It With Bucky”. Coordinate
schedules with elementary teachers and UW Athletes. Arrange cab rides for interested athletes.
Participants travel within the Madison Metropolitan School District to read to 4 th graders.
