Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th January 2016
LOCATION: Greystoke Forest, Near Penrith, Cumbria
CLASSES:
M1 - One dog, scooter OR rig (Alaskan Malamute)
M2 - Two dogs only (Alaskan Malamute)
M4 - No more than four dogs, no less than three
dogs (Alaskan Malamute)
S2 - Two dogs only (Siberian Husky)
S4 - No more than four dogs, no less than three dogs
(Siberian Husky)
S6 - No more than six dogs, no less than four dogs
(Siberian Husky)
MB2 - Two dogs only (Any combination Greenland,
Canadian Eskimo, Samoyed, Siberian, Malamute)
MB4 - No more than four dogs, no less than three
dogs (Any combination Greenland, Canadian Eskimo,
Samoyed, Siberian, Malamute)
J1 - Junior 8-11 years, one dog only (Must be
supervised by an adult at all times whilst on the trail.
This can be done via a bicycle, running alongside etc)
J2 - Junior 12-15 years, one to two dogs
BJ1 – Bikejoring, one dog. Open to all purebred KC
recognized sled dog breeds.
R – Recreational class. Non timed. Open to all
purebred KC recognized sled dog breeds. Maximum
team size 6 dogs.
ENTRIES CLOSE: Friday 8th January (1st class postmark)
VENUE OPENS: 7.00am
MUSHERS MEETING: 8.30am
RIG INSPECTIONS: 7.45am-8.15am. Bibs on rigs please.

DETAILS:
3.0 – 5.2 miles approx. excepting J1, J2 & R at approx. 1 mile.
Hardpacked forestry tracks, some grass/peat. The course distance can be cut in the event of
warm weather.
For those that have run the Greystoke trails in previous years, we hope to have access to
many of the former trails.
The trail will have regular marshall points.
Please also make sure competitors bibs are returned after the event. Thank you.
COMPETITION STARTS: 9.30am
PROBABLE CLASS ORDER: (but subject to change depending on entry numbers)
M2, M4, MB2, MB4, M1, S6, S4, S2, BK1, J2, J1, R
DISTANCES: 3.0 – 5.2 miles approx
START TIMES: 2 minute intervals (subject to change depending on entry levels)
REFRESHMENTS & FOOD: Burger Van on site
TOILETS: Porta-loos will be on site
DIRECTIONS:
J40 off M6 Take A66 (Workington/Keswick/Ullswater).
Stay on A66 for Approximately 8 Miles. Take right hand turning opposite the Cocklakes Farm
Shop towards the Sportsman Pub.
At the Sportsman Pub turn left. Continue for 3 miles, through Berrier and at the cross roads
turn right.
Continue for a further 1.5 miles and the entry will be on your right hand side. Event will be
signposted from the Sportsman Pub
