Sports Pub Challenge History
Eighteen years ago owner John Finlay founded the Sports Pub Challenge with the
purpose of bringing some energy to the Sports Pub on Sunday night after football
season. A friendly competition that incorporates bar style games was created that gives
our customers an opportunity to have some fun during the cold, winter months. The
owners of the Sports Pub soon realized the need to give back to our community and
created the Charity Fundraiser part of the Sports Pub Challenge. This is a way to raise
money for local charities, schools, and churches. As we enter into the 16th Challenge
year, our goal is still to create energy at the Pub with friendly competition while raising
money to help support our community.
Thank you for your continued support of this event!
GOOD LUCK!
And, remember…it’s for charity!
