Last year, I was so happy to hear of your generous PIC Cash Payout Benefits to eligible Singapore companies,
including Sole Proprietors. I had borrowed money to purchase the products and web services to further
improve my company’s productivity.
I didn’t know that the claim process is going to take this long. It’s now coming July 2015 and I am running
very tight on CASH FLOW. It is very stressful especially after receiving your letter dated 3 Jun 2015, it took 4
months for IRAS to evaluate and ask me to re-submit full report.
I am so worried, as to how long it will
take for the actual cash payout.
I sincerely wish you could help evaluate my application as quickly as possible. Beginning 3 months in 2015
had been rather quiet business-wise, I may have to borrow more money to keep this business going. Please
help.

Gardens With Purpose (GWP) is a Training company who offers hands-on gardening workshops to
multi-national companies, government departments, schools , welfare organizations, churches
and public workshops. GWP also provide consultancy and project services to organizations who
want to build an edible garden in their premise (home, schools or offices). GWP also sells
gardening products and install garden systems to customers.
GWP has been operating this business actively since 2009 (previous old company name is Orchids
& Lush Gardens). Over the past 6 years, GWP has taught over 8000 participants in Singapore.
GWP plans to upgrade and expand it’s business. GWP hopes to reach out to even more
customers with a professional website and new computers.
GWP plans to incorporate this business end 2015 and hires more Asst Gardening Trainers and
Gardeners.

staff to assist me during my teaching. Each of the 3 staff has different skills set : TerrariumMaking, Outdoor cooking, Soaps-Making and Vegetables-Growing.

Commencement, Designation, Job Scopes/reporting hours, place and work
All 3 join at the same time 15 Sep 2015 as Asst Gardening Trainers. Their duty is to assist
me (Lead Gardening Trainer) when I conduct a workshop. These workshops are usually
held at clients’ premise or at our regular Training Venue at Toh Orchids. Workshops
conducted : Vegetables Growing, Outdoor Cooking, Terrarium making and Organic
Soap-Making.
A briefing will be conducted before each workshop, hence, these 3 are coached along the
way, on-the-job training.
All 3 are under our permanent free lance part-time arrangement : they are paid only
when there are public workshops conducted. Remuneration is $15 per hour of work.
Sometimes, they are paid extra for the additional work they do. With each assignment,
they will be paid CPF as well.

Apple iPhone 6
This is a smart phone. Due to it's convenient size, it allows me to quickly respond
to emails, contact my customers (personal and in a group), find the location of
appointments, receive orders, etc.. while on the go.
Apple iPad Air 2
Similar to the smart phone, the iPad Air 2 allows me to do all the above but on a
larger screen. Additional applications such as teamviewer, iMovie, pages and
numbers allows me to perform more tasks than the smartphone while still on the
go.
This is for my use and much better upgrade from current old hp model : Business
Planning, Accounts, website updates, respond to emails, create lesson plans,
respond to emails, create quotations, generate invoices, etc..
Laptop 1
It is used by my assist trainers during workshops and also used in major events to
speed up registration, item purchases and quick fixes on notes, flyers etc.
I used this laptop for my eBlasting campaigns as well : it is practically running
eBlast software and massfaxing everyday. It has to remain in the office (to be
connected to the telephone lines for faxing).

The website contains a lot of features which helps to automate my business. First
main feature is the events plugin which helps to automate payment via paypal,
automatically generate a receipt and E-ticket for my customers and send follow
up event details.
Second major feature is the e-commerce plugin which also automates sales of
our gardening products.
The third major feature is the auto-responder integration plugin which helps us
to gather emails from new opt-in customers, keeps in touch with a large number
of customers on a regular basis in order to create a better customer relationship.
These 3 main features saves us a lot of manpower hours as compared to doing it
manually.
We have incorporated other features of the websites : translation, easier
website updates, facebook links, pop-ups and follow-throughs.
NO training attended.
