Project Co-Ordinator Purpose of Role The role of a Project Co-ordinator is to support the research teams through their project and fieldwork management. Specifically this role supports our qualitative face-to-face fieldwork, our international work and more fieldwork support for ad hoc quantitative work. Principal Duties An individual’s role can be focused to suit their particular strengths and the needs of the business, but the full range of skills includes: Survey checking (with specific focus on checking longer surveys) Gathering costs from fieldwork suppliers Booking fieldwork venues and recruitment Providing version controlled materials to agencies Organising the payment of incentives Providing regular fieldwork updates to the research team (in a standard format) across all types of fieldwork (F2F, telephone, online incl. Panel) Develop close working relationships with all fieldwork suppliers including organising and attending supplier review meetings Contributing to the standardisation of costing rates with suppliers Monitoring costs and approving invoices Managing survey translation process (i.e. handling translation files, importing translation into surveys) Supporting international (native language) community work Keeping the business informed of any compliance and regulatory issues across our international markets Maintaining a centralised repository of knowledge about suppliers, markets and regulations appropriate for each market Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities Project Setup Checking questionnaires for complex quant studies (i.e. prior to programming) Maintaining version controlled documentation Thoroughly checking surveys against initial questionnaire and documenting the errors International Project Support Managing translated materials back into the business – ensuring the correct versions are stored in the correct place Managing the proofreading process and handling any corrections to translation Importing the translation back into the Confirmit survey Fieldwork Support Booking fieldwork venues/agencies for Face-to-Face fieldwork Version 1 9th February 2016 Page | 1 of 2 Booking recruitment for Face-to-Face fieldwork Completing correct commission paperwork for all fieldwork including cost and deadlines Ensuring any changes to fieldwork specification is communicated effectively to all agencies Ensuring regular fieldwork updates are given to researchers throughout fieldwork according to a standardised model Organise for the payment of cash incentives where necessary Contacting respondents to confirm attendance at F2F research Regulatory and Compliance Maintain a working knowledge on the regulatory controls for Market research Ensure that any changes to regulatory requirements are communicated to the business Ensure the training, where appropriate, of other members of operations is compliant with regulations Skills and Personal Attributes Required Attention to detail Good written and verbal communication skills A proactive approach to spotting issues and suggesting solutions Good organisational skills, including management of own time Self motivation to be productive and broaden skill set Ability to build strong relationships with internal clients and external suppliers Qualifications and/or Educational Requirements: Educated to Degree level (or equivalent) Page | 2 of 2
