(Roll no 22 to 43) SOCIAL STUDIES: Making models of land forms with clay: Material required:A tray, different coloured modelling clay, pictures of different landforms, glue, sand, soil and grass. Roll no 1 to 10:- To make a mountain range, press a long strip of clay into the tray. Form the strip into peaks, some with pointed top and some with flat tops. Roll no 11 to 20:- To make a volcano, push the clay into the tray to form a triangular peak and then make a hole down its centre. Roll no 21 to 30:- To make an island, press a small mound of clay into the tray to form either a round or elongated shape. Then, fill the tray with some water. Once the clay has dried, decorate the landforms with sand, soil or grass. These can be stuck to the landforms using glue. Roll no 31 onwards:- Create a model of India using clay. Use more clay to make the different physical features of India. (the mountain, the plain, the plateaus, the desert and the coastal areas). Colour the clay in suitable shades. SCIENCE: 1. Make a project listing safety rules to be followed on the road, while playing, while swimming, at home, handling fire or electrical equipments. (Roll no 1 to 5) 2. Paste picture of different animals according to their habitat (i.e. terrestrial, aquatic, arboreal, aerial, amphibian etc.) and list their characteristics. (Roll no 6-10) 3.
