Dear Member, In order to maintain a presence for England and its destinations in overseas markets, VisitEngland has recently establishe around the world. There are now England representatives in North America, North Europe & Nordic, Mid Europe & Russia Pacific who will work alongside their Scotland and Wales and VisitBritain counterparts. Last Friday and Saturday, we had the opportunity to be the first destination outside London to host a familiarisation trip f which, despite the snowy weather, was a huge success. The group visited many of Bath’s key attractions and even had tim reaction and feedback was fabulous: we have certainly enlisted some new global ambassadors of Bath and have forged an will bear fruit over the years to come. BTP Bath Familiarisation Visit The Marketing team at BTP hosted a familiaris for a group of representatives newly employed in South America, North America, Asia – Pacifi Europe and Southern Europe, they work as Re Event Managers. Their roles involve looking at (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Events) an database that will match England's key industr working with travel trade and agencies to push business travellers as well as working with me The aim of the visit was to build upon their pro target markets. From 28 August to 1 September, the Special O Games will be held in Bath and hosted by Bath the 3rd member of the Olympic Family and the regular sports training and competition for you intellectual (learning) disability. There will be 1700 Athletes coming to Bath to by 450 volunteer coaches and team managers In addition, there will be 500 volunteers and in members and friends who will travel to Bath a the events.
