Progress Report, Aug 9, 2011 UF Slosh modeling We reran the Slosh system with the modified 10 minute averaged winds, taking the original OWI winds and forcing both Swan and Slosh with these winds multiplied by 1.09. For Hurricane Ike, on the Galveston basin, we got about 1 meter of increased coastal surge when forced with wind only and about 1.8 meters when forced with winds and waves.
