Finance Plan –
This is a financial plan for the Speakeasy cocktail bar. The intent is to guide the business through
the time needed to obtain funding.
1) Prepare business plan to complete readiness to present to potential investors. This will be
completed by myself and Brendan Fosberry. It will take approximately two days to
complete.
2) Schedule appointment with investors. This will be completed by myself and Emily
Fischer. It will take one to two hours, and it will cost $10 for gas to and from the meeting.
3) Schedule appointment with chamber of commerce for the San Antonio medical center
area. This will be completed by myself and Emily Fischer. It will take one to two hours
and cost $20 for gas and parking fees.
4) Schedule appointment with venture capitalist provided in investing in businesses in med
center area provided by chamber of commerce. This will be completed by myself and
Brendan Fosberry. It will take two to three hours.
5) Check into subsidized loan from Small Business association. This will be completed
online by Brendan Fosberry and Emily Fischer. It will take one hour.
6) Obtain Book keeping software. This will be completed by Brendan Fosberry and myself.
It will take thirty minutes and cost one hundred fifty dollars.
7) Return to investors with information requested. This will be completed by me. It will take
one hour and will cost ten dollars for parking.
8) Return call to venture capitalist with information and bring information
requested by him. This will be completed by myself and Brendan
Fosberry. It will take one hour.
9) Revise business plan for venture capitalist’s approval. This will be
completed by myself and Brendan Fosberry. It will take two hours.
10) Name Brendan Fosberry as Chief Technical Officer and Emily
Fischer as Chief Operating Officer. This will be completed by

11) Negotiate contract terms with capitalist. This will be completed by myself and Brendan
Fosberry. It will take one hour.
12) Open spending and utility accounts. This will be completed by myself and Brendan
Fosberry. It will take two hours.
13) Collect funds from investors. This will be completed by myself and Emily Fischer. It will
take thirty minutes.
14) Name Brian Willeford as Chief Financial Officer. This will be completed by Brendan
Fosberry, Emily Fischer and myself. It will take thirty minutes.
15) Develop purchasing plan. This will be completed by myself, Emily Fischer and Brendan
Fosberry. This will take four hours.

Setup Plan –
This is the setup plan for the Speakeasy Cocktail bar. This is the order that we will obtain all the
things needed to open the doors and start selling products.
1) Locate real estate agent and view possible properties. This will be completed by Emily
Fischer, Brendan Fosberry and myself. This will be done multiple times and take one to
two weeks.
2) Negotiate leasing agreement with agent. This will be completed by Brendan Fosberry and
Myself. This will take three days to finalize and will be mixed in by choosing final
property.
3) Choose property and begin closing procedure and paperwork. This will be completed by
Emily Fischer, Brendan Fosberry and myself. This will take one day to choose the
property and three days to one week and four days to complete the closing. This will cost
Ten Thousand Dollars to obtain the property and pay the agent and closing fees.
4) Set up electricity and water. This will be done by Brendan Fosberry. It will take one to
two hours.
5) Hire interior decorator and create decorating plan. This will be completed by Emily
Fischer and myself. This will take three to five hours on consultation. It will cost seven
hundred dollars to hire the decorator.
6) Obtain business license. This will be done by Brendan Fosberry and Emily Fischer. It
will cost five hundred dollars and will take three days to obtain.
7) Oversee renovations. This will be done by Emily Fischer, Brendan Fosberry and myself
intermittently checking the progress. The renovations will take three weeks and cost
$10,000.
8) Shop for furniture. This will be done by Emily Fischer, Brendan Fosberry and myself.
This will take place multiple times and will take three to four hours each time. The total
cost for furniture will be approximately $7,000.
9) Finalize renovations and review final design. This will be done by Emily Fischer and
Brendan Fosberry. The final review take three hours.
10) Begin reviewing applications. This will be done by Emily Fischer and
Myself. It will take six to seven hours.
11) Shop for and purchase bar and coffee equipment. This will be done by
Brendan Fosberry and myself. It will take two to three hours and
purchases will come out to six thousand dollars.
12) Obtain Liquor License. This will be done by Emily Fischer and myself. It
will cost two hundred dollars and will take one week to finalize.
13) Hold interviews and hire employees. This will be completed by Emily Fischer and
myself. This will take two to three days for interviews and two days to

14) Train all employees. This will be completed by Emily Fischer. This will take one week
and five days.
15) Begin setting up equipment. This will be done by Brendan Fosberry and Myself. This
will take two to four days.
16) Finalize all training for employees. This will be completed by Emily Fischer. This will
take five hours to one day.
17) Finalize setup of furniture and equipment. This will be completed by Brendan Fosberry
and myself. It will cost $500 for any missing connectors and furniture and take three
days.

Marketing Plan –
This is the marketing plan for the speakeasy cocktail bar. The market needs are opening a high
quality relaxed nature bar. The needs of the market in the area around the San Antonio Medical
Center, the USAA area and the University of Texas at San Antonio campus area are of a relaxed
nature bar that anyone can go to any time of day. The area has multiple demographics, men and
women of all ages and financial ability. There are multiple occupations in the area including
doctors, insurance agents and college students. This product gives customers a more mature and
relaxed environment to do business, study and relax with high quality cocktails and beverages.
We hope to be seen as the highest quality establishment in the area.
1) Hire marketing consultant. This will be completed by Emily Fischer and Brendan
Fosberry. This will take one to two hours. It will cost four hundred dollars to hire the
consultant.
2) Set up social media pages. This will be done by Brendan Fosberry. It will take two hours
to complete.
3) Set up E-mail marketing campaign through advertisement company. This will be
completed by Brendan Fosberry. It will cost one hundred dollars.
4) Film advertisement. This will be done by Emily Fischer and myself. This will take three
days for filming and two days for editing and final review. This will cost four hundred
fifty dollars to create.
5) Begin negotiations with local media outlets for advertisement rates. This will be done by
Brendan Fosberry and Emily Fischer.
6) Rent billboard space. This will be done by Brendan Fosberry. This will take one to two
hours and cost three hundred dollars per month.
7) Upload advertisement video to YouTube. This will be done by Brendan Fosberry. This
will take one hour to set up account and upload video.
8) Create flyer for direct mail campaign. This will be done by Emily Fischer and myself. It
will take one to two days to complete and cost fifty dollars.
9) Create small handout items with logos. This will be completed by Brendan Fosberry. It
will take three days for them to be designed and delivered. It will cost three hundred
dollars.
10) Begin word-of-mouth campaign with residents and other businesses in area. This will be
completed by Emily Fischer, Brendan Fosberry and myself. It will cost
one hundred thirty dollars for flyers as well as small handout items.
11) Organize feature coverage on social networks and local business
guides. This will be completed by Brendan Fosberry. It will cost two
hundred fifty and will take one hour to set up.
12) Finalize advertisement rates with media outlets. This will be done by
Brendan Fosberry and myself. The rates will be twenty five dollars per
ad.
13) Set up business website. This will be completed by Brendan Fosberry. It

will take four hours to set up and obtain domain, and will cost seventy
five dollars per month to maintain.

14) Go to local event showcasing local establishments. This will be done by Brendan
Fosberry, Emily Fischer and myself. It will cost one hundred fifty dollars for booth rental
and event parking.
15) Send out grand opening invitations with coupons and preferred customer events. This
will be completed by Brendan Fosberry and Emily Fischer. It will cost two hundred
dollars to design and send out invitations.
