School ACCESS for ELLs Order Form All students in grades K-12 identified as Non-English Proficient (NEP) and Limited-English Proficient (LEP) are required to take the ACCESS for ELLs January 11-February 12, 2016. Only order the amount of tests that your school currently need as CSI receives a 10% overage, which is distributed to schools as needed. Schools may be charged for excessive amounts of unused materials. Please note the changes to the grade clusters, and the online option available to schools for testing this year. Be sure to use the tier placement resources to identify the most appropriate tier for students before completing this order form. Schools testing online are not required to do tier placement. In order to receive meaningful information from the test, it is very important that only students who meet all 3 criteria below participate in the assessment as determined by your school’s IEP team. Other ELLs should continue to take the existing ACCESS for ELLs assessment, with appropriate accommodations as necessary. Alternate Participation Criteria: 1. The student has been classified as ELL. 2. The student has a significant cognitive disability and is eligible for special education services under IDEA. 3. The student is in an alternate curriculum aligned with their state's academic standards, and is participating in the state's alternate accountability assessment.
