About the Practitioner Anne Wright qualified with a BSc Honours degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Acupuncture from the University of Westminster in 2008. She enhanced this degree with a diploma in Chinese massage Tui na and qigong in 2009. Anne is a full member of the British Acupuncture Council (BAaC) as well as a member of the Royal Society of Medicine (RSM). Anne has her own private clinic and in the past has practiced in NHS acupuncture clinics. She has been involved in acupuncture research involving the treatment of post cancer patients. In her clinical work, Anne focuses on chronic and acute pain management and relief as well as general health and well-being. Besides using acupuncture, Anne also uses moxibustion (warming herb) above the skin to warm and promote circulation as well as cupping to release tight muscles and relieve muscle spasms. Prices Clinic times Thursday 9:45am - 1.15pm Initial consultation and first treatment (approximately 75 minutes) £50. Subsequent treatment (approximately 1 hour £45 each. 15 minute consultations (at the clinic or by phone) are available free of charge to new patients. I would be happy to discuss how acupuncture may be able to help you and answer any questions that you have about treatment. Fees are payable by cash or cheque on the day of treatment. Concessions available. Full fees will be charged for appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours notice unless they can be re-booked to another patient. Medical insurance company may cover acupuncture treatments as more private health insurance companies are beginning to offer cover for traditional acupuncture.
