William Wallace By Erin THE GREAT SCOTTISH HERO!!! Picture of the actor who is played the role William Wallace in the Movie Brave Heart William Wallace Monument in Edinburgh Scotland P1: William Wallace was a great hero to Scotland and his people. He fought for Scottish independence and he won it. William Wallace fought the English for over 12 years. He was alive about 200 years ago when Scotland was being led by the English. P2: William Wallace was born in Scotland in 1207 as his early life he was home schooled and then religious education by monks of Paisley Abby. When he was around 15 he went to a Military that is where he learned to fight. P3: William Wallace was a famous leader in Scotland from 1297-1305BC, he also was the head of the Scottish army and got Scottish victory. He helped Scotland to win back its independence for life. P4: William Wallace had short curly hair, had a beard (and a mustache) whiles he was at war he wore a big metal helmet and tons of steel armor to protect him .William Wallace was very agreeable (listened to other opinions and ideas and respected them in every way that is how to be a good leader. William Wallace was very cheerful (always happy and excited). He was pleasing but with a wild look (pleasing his army to do well and don’t be scared, and also respecting his army in a good way just like a leader should do). William Wallace wanted peace and harmony in Scotland forever but his mistake to trust the nobles and eventually the nobles betray him to the English the nobles betray him because they wanted land and independence for themselves. (The English pushed him until he said enough) and fought for freedom. P5: William Wallace’s most famous battle was at Sterling Bridge where his army beat the English and he became Sir.Wiliiam Wallace and then Scotland build a statue of him in the capital Edinburgh. The Scotts admire and respect the statue with their hearts because of what great deeds he has done to Scotland’s history. William Wallace gave freedom from the English and hope from the Scottish P6: He faced so many dreadful things like watching people giving their lives and giving up and watching them suffer from worriedness. William Wallace although he tried very hard to convince his army to believe in that sometime in life we will have freedom from the English and have our own independence for ourselves. William Wallace brought peace and bravery over his time which makes Scotland very powerful for its history in the past in every way you can imagine. William Wallace has many strengths and weaknesses like fighting, being aggressive, being competitive and brave at the same time and willing to fight for freedom and for every right he should. Weaknesses like being polite, being afraid of the English and being scared. P7: People still think that William Wallace is our HERO now for what he has done to Scotland .He inspired so many people to be brave like him and to believe that you can do anything only if you never give up, like him William Wallace tried and tried and tried till he got betrayed by the nobles. When he knew the English were after him, he diced to sacrifice himself for his people. P8: When he was captured by the English they took him to London where he was HUNG DRAWN and QUARTED!!! William Wallace’s head after his death it was placed on the London Bridge so the Scotts could remember what great of a HERO he was. People would think of the entire fantastic things he did for Scotland’s history. P9: William Wallace’s most famous quote of all time is “EVERY MAN DIES NOT EVERY MAN REALLY LIVES!!!”This also in a movie called BRAVE HEART you might have heard of that, it is about the same story as I am talking about. P10: The story of William Wallace is a sad tragic for all Scotts in the past and also in these days and it will be in the future. William Wallace’s right arm, left leg, left arm, right leg were all placed somewhere in London, there are allot of museums in Great Britain especially in Scotland. Conclusion: People have so many good thoughts about William Wallace and his amazing army, and all the things he did for just independence. William Wallace did a lot for Scotland, this is why I chose to study William Wallace, and I come from Scotland too.
