Sheridan Rd. and Sheridan Place (just south of the baseball fields)
o The parking lot next to the tennis courts in Artesian Park
o Along North Avenue (which is one block north of the racecourse)
Driving Directions to Race
See race flyer. However, please be aware of construction on Rte. 176 that may cause
delays if you use that road. (Here are alternate directions to bypass the roadwork on
Rte. 176: From the north take Rte. 137/Buckley Rd. east to Green Bay Rd., then south
on Green Bay Rd. to Rte. 176, then east on Rte. 176 into Lake Bluff. From the south
take Rte. 60 east to Waukegan Rd., then north on Waukegan Rd. to Deerpath, then east
on Deerpath to Green Bay Road, then north on Green Bay Rd. to Rte. 176, then east on
Rte. 176 into Lake Bluff.)
The Racecourse
The racecourse is technical with 6 corners and a long, slightly uphill finishing stretch.
The racecourse is approximately 0.75 miles (1.2 Km) in length.
First Aid
The first aid station is located in the Fire Station next to rider registration.
Neutral Support
SRAM will provide full race support, which will be available just west of the start/finish
line.
Race Numbers
o
o
Dual Numbers – the pro women’s race and the pro men’s race use two body
numbers. Race numbers are to be pinned over the pockets on each side of the
jersey; the number should be visible from the back and either side with the rider
in riding position.
Single Numbers – all other races use a single number. Race numbers are to be
pinned on the right side of the jersey, visible from the race stage where the finish
line camera will be located.
2
All racers will be issued separate numbers for each race in which they compete. Please
make sure to change your race number if participating in more than one race.
Rules
Race rules are per USA Cycling and the Chief Referee’s decisions are final.
Anti-Doping
All races are conducted under USADA anti-doping regulations.
Podium Presentations/Jerseys
A podium presentation for the top three finishers in each race will be held immediately
after each race. If you place in the top 3 in your race, please report to the podium
immediately following your race for awards presentations.
USA Crits jersey presentations: USA Crits will also present jerseys during the podium
presentations for the pro women and pro men’s events.
