Dear (Insert Business), As a member of the 2013-2014 Obion County Adult Leadership Class, we are required to conduct a community service project. Our class has chosen to raise funds towards the Amphitheatre being constructed at the Obion County Public Library. The money raised throughout this project will be donated directly towards the projection screen for the Amphitheatre. Your donation of any amount would be of great help towards the 2013-2014 Adult Leadership Class reaching this goal. You can choose to make a contribution in a sum of your choice. Organizations that give towards the Library Amphitheater Project will receive an honorable mention during the grand opening event at the library. Generous gifts of $500 dollars or more will receive acknowledgement on The Giving Tree. If you would like to contribute toward our goal, you can mail a check to the following address made payable to Main Street of Union City: Main Street of Union City P.O. Box 382 Union City, TN 38281 All donations are tax deductible. Your generosity will go towards helping develop community and economic development strategies for Obion County as well as making it a great place to live, work and play. Thank you so much for your support. Sincerely, 2013-2014 Adult Leadership Class Adult Leadership Challenge Obion County is a community facing many challenges, in areas such as economic development, social services, education, law enforcement, transportation and community development. Through this program, potential leaders are provided with the necessary tool to face the challenges of tomorrow. Library Amphitheater A Brief Project Overview The Obion County Public Library Amphitheater has been funded through charitable donors and grants. The library amphitheater is scheduled to begin construction this year. The Library amphitheater will be located in the Obion County Library Park, behind the library, at 1221 E. Reelfoot Avenue in Union City, Tennessee. The structural planning and funding for the amphitheater project is in place but now we are facing the challenge of raising funds for various amphitheater materials to help facilitate this new library facility. The Obion County Public library has previously hosted park events featuring children’s programming, storytellers, outdoor movie nights, musicians, performing arts, and other cultural events. The stage will also incorporate sound and lighting equipment. The amphitheater will feature other technology such as outdoor wireless internet for the library park. Obion County Public Library stays committed to enriching and improving the lives of Obion County citizens by providing quality experiences.
