Jonathan Blake Opens New Atelier in Prestigious Area of Houston,
Fashionistas and Media Invited for Private Tours and Complimentary Consultations
HOUSTON, Texas (Aug. 20, 2012) – Fashionistas and members of the media are invited to be
among the first to experience the new Jonathan Blake Atelier located at 4544 Post Oak Place Drive,
Suite 220, between the prestigious River Oaks and Galleria areas of Houston. The atelier is open from
10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Central Time, Mondays through Fridays, and by appointment on Saturdays and
Sundays. Consultations can be scheduled with Tinkle and members of his staff by emailing

In October2012, just shy of his 22nd birthday, Jonathan Tinkle launched Jonathan Blake LLC and
his Spring/Summer 2013 collection, which featured the head-turning “Rose Gown” made of 50 yards of
silk and worn by Miss Texas 2012 Brittany Booker. He introduced his Fall/Winter 2013/2014 Collection
in April. Both of his runway shows in Houston have been well attended and have garnered excellent

The Jonathan Blake Atelier, which officially opened in late July 2013, spans approximately 800
square feet and features a color palette of black, silver and white. Enlarged photos and framed news
and feature articles related to Jonathan Tinkle and Jonathan Blake runway shows adorn the walls.
Visitors have access to samples of all items in the Jonathan Blake collections and a spacious fitting
room. Prices for items in the current Jonathan Blake Spring/Summer collection range from $275 to
$13,000. Prices range from $285 to $8,600 for items in the Fall/Winter collection.
More About Jonathan Blake
Established in 2012, Jonathan Blake LLC is a privately held company with solid financial backing.
Tinkle, who is the founder and chief fashion designer, hails from a successful, entrepreneurial family
with ventures involving trucking, logistics and imports/exports. A Houston native, Tinkle began
sketching designs for women’s dresses at the age of 14 and briefly pursued a career in modeling and
acting. He completed The Tenney High School in 2009 and enrolled in The Art Institute of Houston at
age 18. It was there that Tinkle brought one of his sketches to life in the form of a custom-made, black
cocktail dress fitted for and modeled by his younger sister. Shortly thereafter, Tinkle left The Art
Institute and devoted all of his time and energy to planning the launch of Jonathan Blake as a fullfledged fashion design company.
Inspired by Chanel, Valentino and Versace, Jonathan Blake's designs are timelessly “wearable,”
classic, and elegant for women of all ages and varying sizes. All of Jonathan Blake’s pieces in the
Spring/Summer 2013 collection are made of jewel-toned, natural fabrics sourced from New York City,
Europe and Asia. Pieces in the collection originated from pencil sketches by Tinkle and were completed
with the help of Houston-based pattern makers and seamstresses. Most of the skirts and dresses in the
collection are designed for cocktail and evening wear. Some business blouses, jackets, skirts and slacks
are also included. Sizes range from 0 to 12, and prices range from $275 for blouses to $13,000 for
evening dresses.
