Discuss your ideas with your research advisor, the DGS of your doctoral program, and the DGS of the master’s program. Create a time plan that includes all course work, examinations, and dissertation work to be completed for both degrees. 2. Ask the respective DGSs to fill out the attached forms. Please know that the master’s program will have access to your undergraduate transcripts when requested from the Graduate School. 3. Save your application as “OpenGradApp_Student Name.” Submit your application to the Graduate School by email (graduate_dean@brown.edu) by 5:00pm on the second Friday in February. To be included in your materials are: The student application form. Your internal academic record (unofficial transcript), which you can get from the Registrar. Your CV.
