During Future Farmer & Youth Show steers class, judges to allocate points on showmanship. Competitors will be identified with colour coded numbers 2. Steers will not be permitted to participate in FF or YS group classes 3. Use of steers by Future Farmers and Youth Following discussion, it was agreed that: Exhibitors, who had trained steers, would be permitted to use the animals in the Future Farmers and Youth classes on Friday 23 May ONLY to facilitate abattoir departure times. Exhibitors would not be permitted to ‘borrow’ animals for entry into any steer class. Standards must be maintained and any animals deemed to be unacceptable would not be permitted to enter the show ring, regardless of their origin or circumstances. This policy will be strictly enforced in 2014.
