Santa Ana College and I are committed to providing reasonable accommodations for all individuals with disabilities. DSP&S is located in U-103 and their phone number is 714-564-6264. The DSP&S office requires documentation of your disability in order to receive reasonable accommodations. If you do not have documentation they will work with you to acquire it. I look forward to supporting you to meet your learning goals. II. Student Assessment & Accommodations a. The DSP&S main office was moved from R-101 and it is now in U-103. We have centralized the majority of our services/ resources. b. Accommodation requests are student initiated and can only be requested through DSPS. c. Accommodations are only approved by DSPS faculty based on standards of practice in our field and legal mandates. d. Once an accommodation is finalized, it is legally binding and compliance with it is not optional. III. DSP&S Department Outreach Efforts a. Encourage collaboration and communication with all SAC Faculty. b. You are not expected to be an expert on how to provide accommodations to students with disabilities. c. We are available for case consultation any time. d. We would appreciate your collaboration to share this information with adjunct faculty.
