Title
ENZ and MNZ Applications in Impedance Matching
Abstract
In some groups of metamaterial such as ENZ (𝜀 near zero) and MNZ (𝜇 near zero) we observed tunneling
and supercoupling and squeezing phenomena. These phenomena cause the electromagnetic fields
resonance and during the resonance, properly shaped and pass through the arbitrary channels. We use
these phenomena to matching impedance for several transmission line such as microstrip line, strip line
and rectangular waveguide. This method very easy to build and has a low profile and the senility of this
method to value of impedance of one hand is very low. (I mean, the resonance occur a little lower\upper
than previous resonance.). Another advantage of this method is that the bandwidth of this matching is
depend on the bandwidth of ENZ\MNZ. Usually we give bandwidth about 10% around the center
frequency.
