All money orders, cashiers and personal checks must be made payable to Gwinnett Pearls of Service Foundation, Inc. and delivered to the finance committee directly from a parent or guardian. Payments will not be accepted by mail to Gwinnett Pearls of Service Foundation or Upsilon Alpha Omega. 2. All payments will be accounted for and receipts prepared for accurate record keeping for the Gwinnett Pearls of Service Foundation, Inc. and the respective payer. 3. Payments submitted for the Souvenir Journal are NON-REFUNDABLE and deemed a donation to Gwinnett Pearls of Service Foundation, Inc. They are, therefore, TAX DEDUCTIBLE. DOCUMENTATION 1. At the time of donation, the donating parent must stay on the premises until a receipt is received for donations since the last collection date. 2. No advertisements will be accepted without a Support Submission Form. A signed form verifying payment has been received should be provided to a member of the Printing Committee before names can be listed in the Souvenir Journal under any giving level. 3. There are absolutely no free advertisements for placement in the Souvenir Journal. SOUVENIR JOURNAL GENERAL QUESTIONS How Do I Submit An Advertisement? DIRECTIONS FOR SUBMITTING ADS: 1. Email your camera-ready ad in PDF format only to LMAKAprinting@icloud.com 2. Full-page ads only. How many souvenir journals will each girl receive? Each participant who has met her Presentation Fee will receive one souvenir journal for her parents and one souvenir journal for each FULL-PAGE COLOR AD purchased. Additional journals will be available for sale at the pageant. When is the last day to turn in ads? While financial support will be accepted up until the afternoon of the pageant, donations and ads must be properly received on or before March 7, 2015, in order for them to appear in the souvenir journal. Ad submissions begin in January and conclude on March 7, 2015. Funds may continue to be collected after March 7th and will be attributed towards winner awards; however, these monies will be received as donations only. A. Please have all checks made payable to the Gwinnett Pearls of Service Foundation, Inc. B. Please write your child’s name on all checks to ensure proper credit is issued. C. Itemized receipts will be provided to each contestant for all funds submitted. Please ensure that you do obtain and maintain a receipt for all submissions to ensure accurate reconciliation as needed. D. Returned checks will be subject to a bank handling charge. The amount of the returned check will be deducted from funds submitted. E. All checks will be deposited seven to ten business days after receipt. F. A designated Pageant Treasurer will collect funds 30-45 minutes prior to each activity. See calendar for specific dates. G. The $200 registration fee is due by December 6, 2014. H. The $650 fundraising minimum is due by March 4, 2015. I. All funds are non-refundable. J. Saturday, April 11, 2015 is the last date that checks will be accepted. After April 11th, only CASH ONLY payments will be accepted. K. Money collection will close at NOON on the day of the pageant. Note: The amount that each contestant has collected will be kept strictly confidential. Only ONE member of Upsilon Alpha Omega will be in charge of total contributions from each contestant. She is the ONLY person that will know who the winner is on the day of the pageant.
