RULES ON THE USE OF TANGLEWOOD RECREATIONAL AREAS
WARNING NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY SWIM AT YOUR OWN RISK

taken to be included on your card.

Pool membership ID card with a photo or a photo ID card and pool card must be shown at the gate prior to entering the
pool area by all members and guest over 5 years of age. Pool ID Card only if under (5) five.
Each household is allowed four guests cards. Guests must be accompanied by the member at all times, and abide by the
Tanglewood rules.
The pool may not be reserved for private parties.
Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult member at all times, 18 years or older.
Swim diapers are required for children who are not bathroom trained and a swimsuit must be worn over the swim diaper.
No individual with an open sore or infectious disease will be allowed in the pool.
Glass containers are not allowed in the pool area.
Only proper swimming attire is permitted. No cut-off shorts, blue jeans.
No Diving.
No running, pushing, fighting, dunking, riding on shoulders will be allowed. No boisterous or rough play.
No animals per county health ordinances.
Radios, CD player’s and tape recorders are not allowed unless used with personal headphones.
No smoking in pool area or within twenty feet of clubhouse.
Pool equipment and safety equipment are to be used for cleaning and rescue purposes only.
No Games (or equipment) that endangers other swimmers or sunbathers allowed in the recreational area.
All members and guests must shower before using the pool.
Residents and unaccompanied minor dependents (age 14 and under) must carry a current ID card, and Guests must carry
a current Guest Card when using the Tennis/Basketball area. The management agent or any Association resident can
require anyone not carrying a current ID Card to leave the Tennis/Basketball Court area.
Skates, skateboards, tricycles, bicycles, and other wheeled items are NOT ALLOWED on the tennis/basketball courts.
Residents playing are allowed a total playing time of 60 minutes, if other residents are waiting.
Adult residents have priority on the Tennis / Basketball Courts over dependents age 17 and under, unless the dependents
are accompanied by an adult resident after 5:00PM daily.
The tennis court area may be used for tennis play only and not to be used for any other reason.
Residents and their guests must wear proper attire including tennis shoes in the tennis court area.
No Barbecue grills.
Loud, boisterous, abusive, profane language, roughhousing, or threats will not be allowed.
The pool manager on duty has the authority to enforce these rules and may remove any member or guest who
violates these rules.
Tanglewood Estates Homes Association, its officers, directors, and employees shall not be liable for any claim for damages,
including damages for accidents, injuries, and damage to personal property, based upon any claim whatsoever including any
claim of any actions or inactions of the parties and claims of negligence of the parties. All residents of the Association, their
family members and guests are responsible for knowing and obeying the rules regarding the use of the pool.
Remember, this is your pool, help keep it clean.
