Prior to submitting the sample, the following recommendations should be addressed:
(1) One gallon of the grout sample is recommended for evaluation.
(2) Inspect the container to ensure that it is full.
(3) Make sure the sand has the right US mesh size (50/70 is preferred), silica content (>99%), and shape (rounded)
(4) Inspect grout for settling. If settling has occurred, call local representative or IDP laboratory for
recommendations.
(5) Send samples to the address below.
(6) Contact your local field service representative to notify the lab that samples are being submitted.
