Homework - Homework will be assigned for each section covered in class. See the end of the syllabus for detail. It is strongly recommended that you do all of the homework assigned in order to insure your success. Review – There will be a “practice test” (review) at the end of each chapter. You should complete the practice test by yourself before watching the video that shows how to complete the chapter review. Exams- There are 5 tests and a comprehensive final exam scheduled. Make –up Tests - If you take a test you are stuck with your score and you may not take a make-up test. If you miss a test you may take a make-up test. The make-up test will be more difficult than the test given in class and will contain questions from old chapters and have problems different / harder than the review. Be sure you can solve all the problems on every old test as well as all the problems in the current chapter so that you will do well on a make-up test. You have 1 week to complete your make up. After one week you will get a grade of a 0 on your missed test. Please let me know if you want to take a make-up and I will place a test in the testing center for you.
